SILA (Saxophone Idols Live In Action) held its first-ever, biggest saxophone concert at Music Museum, Greenhills last November 29, 2018. This event was supported by a group of saxophonists and well-known singers such as SUD and Ana Ramsey. The proceeds of this benefit concert were donated to Operations Blessing Philippines.
The concert was lively all along from start to finish! First time to hear it close and personal, every sax tone left me a mix of emotions. Music tones down our mood of any kind. I'm glad to be part of this first held event in the Philippines. Felt the connection of each string running up and down, as if the music wants to send a message.
I remembered this date was very traffic on a Friday because of a long weekend, went a little late but still managed to have our seats available. While the concert was ongoing, I ordered some tequila and drinks to spice up the vibe. The concert ended past 11PM and I had a photo op with the performers and SUD.
It was a night of strings and sax, soothing the hope for ears. If you wanna join in their upcoming events, just follow them on them on Facebook and Instagram @saxophonefasttrackph.
