I have pictured out what luxury looks like in a cruise through movies and scenes, yet I have attained this dream come true at 25. Good things do happen at the right time, moment and place unexpectedly. Agree? I went to Costa Victoria in Maldives last January 2020 without spending a cost. WITHOUT A COST. For real!? YEAH. Thanks to my cousin who was working there! Lol. Relative perks and connections are a give and take. Let me share you the royal facts about Costa Victoria.

COSTA VICTORIA
Costa Victoria from Costa Cruises is a uniquely-designed huge built (827 in length) cruise ship with Italian and Swedish inspiration that can accommodate up to 2,400 guests. Its vintage interior was refurnished with new furniture and fabrics to modern elements. Some items remain classic to keep the timely touch such as Emilio Tadini mosaics.
During my visit, the ship was traveling to arranged routes to Maldives, India and Sri Lanka in circulation. Rate starts from $800 per person depending on the route, all-inclusive for a couple of days to the tourist areas of your desire.
We were given a day tour in their dock to selected facilities such as cabin suites, restaurants, library area, live theater, gym, casinos, spa and beauty center and shopping outlets. I was indeed treated like a tourist with the other crews' warm welcome! Costa "V" for victory to new a beginning in this journey. Let's come back here like it's 1948!
POOL
One of my favorite spots was at the enormous pool in different hues of blue. The picturesque view and tropical atmosphere were enough to fill the leisure with a liquor at hand while reading a profound novel or interacting a new friend under the bright sun (where I literally got sun burnt but enjoyed the moment!).

Here's the tailored vintage interior of one of their fine-dining restaurants. The opening was presented with Italian night, a performance show until we were brought together through a train. Also, the male crew asked our hands for a ballroom dance - a night to remember! Not just that, other crews performed solo amazing Italian songs and others performed by group. Kudos to the multi-talented team!
Their scrumptious Western and Mediterranean cuisine makes me wanna go back! Every bite brings more appetite by gourmet in this Classic Italian set-up.

I admire the hard work of all the crews (estimated less than 800) coming from different nations working 24/7 in a cruise ship, they dedicate most of their efforts in assisting guests with all services. In comparison with the hotel industry professionals who have the benefit to manage their shifts and breaks, endeavor in the ship is literally full time. Most of their time was nevertheless spent at work, as work never sleeps while at the road of seas.
