What It's Like Having Chinese New Year In Binondo

Filipinos are partly attached to the Chinese tradition. Mainly longing for luck in every aspect - lucky numbers, colors, superstitious beliefs, even on the food we eat.

Binondo is known as China Town - a place where most of the population is Filipino-Chinese. It's a community of mixed blood that hovers together in a diverse culture. Binondo is also known for the history of famous restaurants up-to-date.

Promoting aside, it was on another day when I suddenly dropped by at nearby Divisoria (public market with malls where you can shop and drop your cash in little amounts, in short cheap prices lol). So I picked up some corporate items and bought OOTD clothes for my upcoming summer vacation.

It's the Year of the Pig and I passed by the nearby Lucky China Town and discovered Chinese lanterns and decorations hanging in participation of Chinese New Year! I, myself tried and tasted these delectable goods at the side stalls, they were tasty at an affordable bite!

To see is to believe, so here we go. Gong Xi Fa Cai!
